I've just been tagged by AGP -- A Great Pleasure -- to join her in the Pink Sisterhood. This tag is aimed to support Pink for October. This tag is to be done in October Month to raise awareness on Breast Cancer. But what is the breast cancer? Here is a quotation from Laura about breast cancer. Actually, Laura has been write many posts about it. Check it there :)

Cells are the building blocks that make up breast tissue. Normally, cells grow and divide to form new cells in an orderly fashion, such that as soon as a cell is old, it dies and is replaced by a new one. When new breast cell form unnecessarily and old cells do not die when they should, these extra cells form a mass of tissue called a tumours.
Cancerous tumours invade and damage surrounding tissues and organs. Cancer cells can break away from the primary tumour and enter the bloodstream and form new tumours in other parts of your body. Breast cancer generally spreads to the lymph nodes near the breast.
Several factors may point to an inherited risk of breast cancer. These include:

1. A pattern of breast cancer in previous generations e.g grandmothers and aunts
2. A family history of other cancers, especially the prostate, ovary and colon types, with two or more relatives affected.
3. Breast and ovarian cancer in the same relative.
4. Breast cancer in a close relative under the age of 40.
5. Breast in a relative affecting both breasts. A male relative affected by breast cancer.
