When the children get sick, parent, especially a mother will get worry about the children condition. Usually, when the illness is not so suffer, a mother will treat her child at home, or call child's doctor or even seeking immediate medical attention.
Yet, sometimes a mother also get confused about how to choose the appropriate doctor for her child, because children need more complex care than adult.
Choosing a doctor to provide for the health and wellbeing of the children is an incredibly important decision. There’s a lot to consider when choosing the right doctor, and it may seem overwhelming at first, especially since a mom will be making this decision before actually become a parent. But, at a mother must be able to find an appropriate doctor or even a medical assistant, that a mom respect and trust.

It is important to consider whether child’s doctor or medical assistant refers to and recommends beyond their own expertise. Due to this paramedic must be highly experienced specialists that are 100% dedicated to caring for kids. Focus on a medical assistant, sometime a mom will get hesitant to them because the are no a doctor. This medical assistant will be a someone warm and caring, responsive, reassuring and knowledgeable, and who can recommend the best care for children.

Yet, what is exactly a medical assistants? Why does a mom also must consider about this medical assistants?
Medical assistants perform administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors, and other health practitioners running smoothly. They should not be confused with Physician assistants, who examine, diagnose, and treat patients under the direct supervision of a physician. For clinical medical assistants, duties vary according to what is allowed by State law. Some common tasks include taking medical histories and recording vital signs, explaining treatment procedures to patients, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians during examinations. Medical assistants collect and prepare laboratory specimens and sometimes perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments. They might instruct patients about medications and special diets, prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician, authorize drug refills as directed, telephone prescriptions to a pharmacy, draw blood, prepare patients for x-rays, take electrocardiograms, remove sutures, and change dressings. Medical assistants also may arrange examining room instruments and equipment, purchase and maintain supplies and equipment, and keep waiting and examining rooms neat and clean. That's why, beside selecting the appropriate doctor, a mom sometimes must also consider the medical assistants who help the doctor because the work of the doctor will be influenced by the work of medical assistants.

Nowadays, there are some medical assistant school in which the medical assistants will be ge some training sessions and working closely with more experienced workers. So, the medical assistants will get more expert in their job. This because medical assistants deal with the public; therefore, they must be neat and well groomed and have a courteous, pleasant manner and they must be able to put patients at ease and explain physicians’ instructions. They must respect the confidential nature of medical information. Clinical duties require a reasonable level of manual dexterity and visual acuity. Even, some States allow medical assistants to perform more advanced procedures, such as giving injections, after passing a test or taking a course.
